A pre-requisite of the MLP1 training course is completion of the Responsible Service of Alcohol (SITHFAB021, SITHFAB002) course. If you have not completed your RSA, you can complete the combined MLP1 & RSA training bundle.

HOW TO BECOME AN APPROVED MANAGER
Register
Register and complete the AHA (WA) Approved Managers, Course in Management of Licensed Premises (52863WA) training course.
Step 1Certification
AHA(WA) Assessment submission is marked by qualified assessors. Successful submissions will promptly receive a Nationally Accredited Certificate.
Step 2Clearance
Apply for a national police clearance as part of your application. Please note a National police clearance (NPC) must be less than three months old from the date of issue to be accepted by the Department of Local Government, Sport, and Cultural Industries.
Step 3Application
Complete the required online steps at the Department of Licensing website portal here.
